Fact is, the words were written in 1933 by the authors of this wonderful book and it seems not much has changed, except, of course, that now big pharma profits are much higher, fear mongering and selling solutions to those fears, even if they don't work. The drugs and ointments have changed, but the theory is still alive and well. I've wasted my time on this planet; should have been a pharmaceutical representative.Highly recommended... - lc

Most of the scares raised here are extremely dated (the authors are extremely concerned about bran in cereal, for example).
