Koji, young American teenager is transported during a life-threatening moment to another world where he must immediately fight for his life. As the winner of the deathmatch he is claimed by a princess and begins life as a consort and cultivator. He rapidly advances in an OP fashion whilst undergoing adventures and quests. Meanwhile dastardly plots in the palace abou d unbeknownst to the royal family. Interesting that spouses have separate bedrooms and are modest despite intimate moments. Difficult to accept the emasculating role into which the lamia placed the men and was pleased when Koji asserted himself. Felt the characters were not fully three dimensional, and there was a lack of environmental development or world-building. Enjoyed the story but do hope that the story , world and characters become more developed with additional sequels. Some editing errors, but they do not detract from the reading.
I enjoyed this story a lot and look forward to the next one. As a fan of the source material i enjoyed it but it also left me confused with the MC. He seems obsessed with getting stronger and afraid of others controlling him. Yet he places himself in a place where he has everything in his schedule controlled. Worse there is a specific type of power that he has no defense against but instead of training defense in that he trains in sword combat when he can already kill anyone in close combat easily. Hopefully in the next book the MC remedies his weakness or stop pretending he cares about not having control.That is really my only complaint and though it is frustrating(that and his weird views of chastity) . The rest is an interesting story with lots of interesting and diverse characters that made it an enjoyable read.
The author did a good job in telling the story in a way to get me excited about the world and it's backstory. The characters are varied and different from what most people would expect. The pacing was good and the action scenes are well done. The MC was good and we'll on the way of being a OP hero. The martial arts styles offered some interesting choices in how they could be used. Overall I enjoyed it and give it a 4.5 out of 5 I rounded up so that's why I have a 5.
Ok so most of the story is pretty good if you like xanxia fantasy harem books, the only thing I didn't like was all of the sexual awkwardness throughout the entire book, I mean this is a harem novel and I can see it in the beginning but not the entire thing, it just doesn't fit.
It is doing good. I notice there is very few plot hole but most is fine. I shock that koji is badass
The book was about a overpowered clueless guy who has a harem and dosnt do anything and gets a boner when he sees any woman. Bad.
